The Be Covered campaign has launched in New Mexico with the website BeCovered.org/NM and community events to provide statewide outreach and education about health insurance enrollment. Be Covered is a community-based campaign designed to help people who are uninsured and underinsured better understand the benefits of enrollment, identify their subsidy eligibility options and empower them to make informed health care decisions for themselves and their families. Nearly 200,000 people are uninsured in New Mexico, yet more than 62% qualify for some kind of financial assistance.¹
As part of the campaign, Be Covered will be holding two health and wellness fairs in partnership with community organizations to engage New Mexicans about the importance of health insurance coverage and to provide information on enrollment.
