Health Equity and Social Determinants of Health: New Resources for Providers

Health inequities persist even among those who get their health care coverage through work, according to this recent study. To help close these gaps in care, we are expanding our efforts to address health equity and social determinants of health. We have a new webpage dedicated to improving access to care for all our members.

BCBSNM knows that community alliances play a critical role in filling the gap to a brighter, stronger and healthier future for all New Mexicans. Because of this, BCBSNM invests in community organizations that directly address health equity and the social determinants of health in our communities. Working together is vital to create access to care and resources for urban, rural and under-resourced communities.
